In order to help and allow Calatagan Educators to become culturally responsive and academically more effective in their teachings, the E. Zobel Foundation organized a 3-Day Workshop that will bridge the gap between culture and academics. The Foundation partnered with Department of Education Region IV-A in the facilitation on blending Calatagan traditional and cultural heritage in educational concepts. The writing workshop with the local teachers will run in less than 6 months. Learning modules to be crafted by these educators will allow local students to adapt to the constraints of today’s modern academic world and be encouraged to maintain their identities.
