    EZF Mobilizes Support For Public High School

    EZF turned over additional eight classrooms making the total donations to 12 classrooms. The funds which were utilized came from the generous support of Mr. and Mrs. Antony Marden, Jaime Zobel de Ayala family, BPI Foundation, Ms. Dedes Zobel and Mr. Iñigo Zobel. The American Womens’ Club of the Philippines (AWCP) also supported the conversion of one of the classrooms into a furnished Science Laboratory. A school library was set up to address the growing needs of the students and teachers on reference materials and researchers.

    EZF funds school ceilings in support of DepEd's Brigada Eskwela.

    About 500 students and teachers from Jacobo Zobel Elementary School in Calatagan, Batangas can now have their classes in a more comfortable setting as the E. Zobel Foundation funded the construction of wooden ceilings and installed a number of orbit fans to ten classrooms. This foundation initiative is in support of the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela which is held every year to generate community resources and participation in improving the school facilities. With enhanced classrooms and amenities, EZF believes that a more successful teaching and learning process can be achieved.

    ALL IN ACTION for #BrigadaEskwela2016

    The E. Zobel Foundation mobilized its welding and electrical trainees together with the EZ Foundation and Tom Layng’s Scholars to take part in this year’s Brigada Eskwela. Over the last two days, almost a hundred students and their parents volunteered and took turn to help in the various repair and repainting works, clean up of classrooms and in the school grounds beautification. The ENZOTECH trainees checked the electrical installation in every classroom, changed starters and bulbs if needed - to ensure that the rooms are properly lighted. On the other hand, the other trainees also did minor welding repairs on broken steel window and door frames.
