Program: Learning Support

The Social Action Office (SAO) of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) organized a Pinoy Youth Camp, with the theme, “ENGAGED: Pinoy Youth in Action held last 17-19 June 2016 at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School. The camp basically has four (4) major advocacies: peace, environment, youth engagement and pride of being Filipino. There were around 80 student-leaders came from different High Schools, including Lucsuhin,National,high school and Calatagan National High School. While playing indoor and outdoor games, and setting up tents, participants learnt and practiced leadership skills as they have assessed their individual strengths and weaknesses, goal-setting, project management skills including planning up to evaluation process. What made this camp distinctive is that, they have invited influential and charismatic speakers and they were able to teach, engross, and inspire student leaders and even teachers who joined the camp.
