Enriching Lives Through ENZO Tech

Program: Special Projects

The Enrique Zobel Technical Training Center (ENZO Tech) recently broke ground at Calatagan, Batangas and attended by key personalities and the town’s officials.

The ENZO Tech is the first establishment in the area which will serve as a post-secondary TESDA certificate program to equip high school graduates with appropriate knowledge, skills and attitude on technical and other trade skills necessary to become productive Batangueños.

This will be an alternative venue for youth who lacks the financial resources to go to college or simply for those who want to pursue short-term vocational courses necessary for immediate employment and/or venture into a small business.

The establishment of the ENZO Tech is an initiative of the heirs of the late Don Enrique Zobel, a businessman-philantropist who died in 2004. Iñigo Zobel and his sister, Mercedes, initiated this project to continue the legacy of their father and also to address the pressing need for a number of high school graduates to pursue an alternative technical vocational education. This will be an added project of the E. Zobel Foundation aside from its year-round education interventions in the different public schools of Calatagan, Batangas.
