Program: Health And Nutrition

The E. Zobel Foundation, committing to improve the quality of life of schoolchildren in Calatagan, Batangas, acknowledges this fact and recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with UP Manila, through its Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, to undertake a “Five-Year Restorative and Oral Health Care Program” in a pilot public school, Jose M. Caisip Elementary School, with 69 grade one pupils.

The program intends to conduct dental health education sessions with the parents and the children beneficiaries, and do dental health prevention services, such as regular check up, putting sealants to infected tooth to avoid further deterioration, proper tooth brushing, and the likes.

The program partners, EZF and UP Manila, are hopeful that this program will be successful with the strong commitment and participation of the parents, as well as the school and the community.
